The Sun Watts

What began as a family music project with my daughters has evolved into a solo songwriting and recording project centered on melody, atmosphere, and exploration.

The music draws from indie rock, alternative, and melodic guitar-driven songwriting, combining layered guitars, memorable hooks, and experimental textures. At its heart is a simple goal: to write songs that feel genuine while leaving room for discovery.

The project’s earlier life as a trio remains an important part of its story, but the music has continued to grow and change. Today, the recording process is a more personal, solo endeavor—allowing each song to develop organically and to follow its own direction.
